Hon. Adetola Abubakar: A Promise Keeper Giving Agboyi-Ketu Youth Fresh Hope with Free GCE Forms*

In Agboyi-Ketu, promises are no longer just words on paper — they are actions unfolding before the people’s eyes. The Executive Chairman, Honourable Adetola Adunni Abubakar (AAA), completed a two-day transparent screening exercise for the distribution of 300 free GCE forms, and the impact was nothing short of inspiring.

From Friday through Monday, young school leavers thronged the LCDA Secretariat in their hundreds, hopeful and eager. Parents stood by with gratitude in their eyes, and for once, they saw a process that was open, fair, and honest. No child was left in doubt — if you qualified, you knew why; if you didn’t, you were told respectfully.

“This is the first time I’ve seen government treat us with such respect,” said a smiling student.
“It gives me hope.”

Parents were equally moved. “God will bless our Chairman,” one mother prayed aloud. “She promised transparency, and she is proving it.”

For Hon. Adetola, this wasn’t just about GCE forms; it was about trust restored and dreams renewed. She has set a new tone for governance in Agboyi-Ketu — one where every resident can feel the touch of leadership in real, meaningful ways.

The story doesn’t end here. On Wednesday, August 20, 2025, the official presentation of the forms will take place at the Council Hall, in the same transparent and people-focused manner.

One thing is clear: in Agboyi-Ketu today, youth are hopeful, parents are proud, and leadership is keeping its word. Hon. Adetola Adunni Abubakar is not just leading — she’s lifting.
