The Co-Workshop and Tool Empowerment Initiative (CTE) continues to shine as a transformative force in the Kosofe Federal Constituency. Spearheaded by visionary support from Honourable Kafilat Ogbara, CTE is revolutionizing the lives of artisans and entrepreneurs by addressing critical challenges in the informal sector.

2024: A Year of Remarkable Impact
Launched on July 31, 2024, during World Youth Skills Day, CTE has achieved significant milestones that resonate with its mission of empowerment. Through strategic partnerships with renowned brands like Bosch Tools, Sleek Make-Up, and Nigeria Gas and Transport Solutions Limited, CTE has:

Trained Makeup Artists: In November 2024, ten makeup artists mastered professional techniques at Sleek Studio, poised to transform the beauty industry in their communities.
Pioneered Green Energy Transition: Thirty mechanics received training in converting vehicles to Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), positioning Kosofe at the forefront of sustainable energy.
2025: Ambitious Plans for Greater Impact
Building on its successes, CTE is rolling out advanced training programs and infrastructure this year:

Bosch Power Tool Training: Starting this January, 150 artisans will enhance their expertise in trades like carpentry and plumbing.
Oraimo Barber Training: Barbers will adopt cutting-edge grooming techniques using eco-friendly rechargeable tools.
CTE Hubs: A Game-Changer for Artisans
This year, CTE plans to launch dedicated hubs in Kosofe, featuring:

Affordable Tool Rentals: High-quality equipment for construction workers, electricians, and beauticians.
Fully Equipped Workspaces: Subsidized facilities for hairstylists, nail technicians, and more.
Additionally, an integrated digital platform will connect citizens with registered artisans, promoting accessibility and collaboration.
